APRS IGate based on javAPRSSrvr to interface Bluetooth KISS TNC on an Amateur Radio RF network to APRS-IS. This application appears as a local (internal) APRS-IS server so it can be used in conjunction with a UI APRS client to provide IGate capabilities to a mapping/messaging APRS client.
This application requires the user to have a valid amateur radio license.
Per APRS-IS specifications, this app accesses your location to create valid posits which are sent to the upstream server and to the attached TNC every 20 minutes. This is an essential function of IGates to prevent ghost IGates and cannot be disabled.
More setup information can be found on my website.
Internal architecture modifications to match 4.3.3 release of javAPRSSrvr. Core packages updated to latest release 4.3.3. Minor code cleanups and compiled with latest Android Studio.
